The Energy Efficiency Center is part of an effort to leverage the OSU Industrial Assessment Center’s (IAC) 20+ years of experience to expand the breadth of sectors previously served. The EEC has the goal of providing the Northwest a laboratory to develop a knowledge base of new and common efficiency opportunities in a range of sectors, currently including industry, agriculture and commercial facilities. The center is built on student management with faculty mentorship and oversight, currently being led by two graduate students.

The Industrial Assessment Center at OSU has been commended by the US Department of Energy (DOE) for its work. We also contributed to a national award for Environmental Sustainability presented to DOE by Renew America, Inc. IAC teams have visited more than 500 Northwest manufacturers, and have made recommendations.
